Juan Verde is a renowned international strategist, specialized in sustainable economics, foreign investment attraction and strategic alliances for the public and private sectors. He currently serves on President Biden's President's Export Council, advising the White House on foreign trade. In the Obama administration, he was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia at the Department of Commerce, leading economic relations with 52 countries. Previously, he collaborated with Bill Clinton's administration as an advisor on international trade.

With a strong political background, he has contributed to multiple Democratic campaigns, including the Biden-Harris campaign, and has worked alongside leaders such as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore and John Kerry. On the business side, he advises companies such as Google, Cisco, American Express and Banco Santander Investments US on the integration of sustainable strategies. He has also collaborated with institutions such as the World Bank, Harvard and the IDB. He founded the American Chamber of Commerce in the Canary Islands and Gibraltar, and today serves on the Board of the American Sustainable Business Council, as well as the boards of HISPASAT and Airbus Foundation.

In the public sector, he has worked with governments in the US, Lithuania, Gibraltar and Latin America. As an environmental advocate, he led the expansion of the Climate Reality Project in Spain and Argentina alongside Al Gore. Recognized among the 100 most influential Hispanics against climate change and the TOP100 disruptive leaders in 2021, he has participated in the UN COP25 and COP26. Today he chairs the Advanced Leadership Foundation, dedicated to developing future global leaders.

He holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard, Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and International Relations from Boston, and has been decorated by the Order of Rhodes and Malta. His work has received recognition from Pope Francis. He divides his time between the United States and the rest of the world, and enjoys horseback riding, hiking and marathons.
