Marcela is a Colombian political scientist with more than 25 years of experience in public policy and communications strategy development. She has an extensive professional background, having served as General Director of Foros Semana at Semana Magazine, a publication recognized for its influential political and economic analysis in Colombia.
Marcela has also held the position of Executive Director of the Institute of Political Sciences - Hernán Echavarría Olózaga - in Bogotá, one of the most influential think tanks specializing in public policy in the country.Marcela has also held the position of Executive Director of the Hernán Echavarría Olózaga Institute of Political Science in Bogotá, one of the most influential think tanks specializing in public policy in the country. Throughout her career, Marcela has worked as an advisor and campaign manager for various candidates, both locally and nationally. She has also gained international experience as a consultant at Oxford Analytica (in England).
Marcela has developed a strong network that allows her to establish professional relationships with relevant figures in Washington and throughout the Americas, including political leaders, representatives of civil society, and business leaders.
