Professor Carrasquero holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. His areas of expertise include public opinion, political communication, political culture, electoral systems, political environment analysis, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Drawing on his experience, he has worked in data analysis to support clients on matters related to environmental analysis, strategic planning, and communication involving political, economic, and social stakeholders.
